Astropanth ("we", "us", the "App") provides personalised astrology and numerology insights based on your birth details. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We process your personal data with your consent, which you give when you create an account and provide your birth details, and which you can withdraw at any time (see "Your rights").
You can browse the astrology and numerology sections as a guest without creating an account. In guest mode, birth details you enter are stored only on your device.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the App:
Some of these providers are located outside India, so your personal data may be processed internationally. We use reputable providers and rely on lawful transfer mechanisms; such transfers are permitted under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, except to any territory the Government of India may restrict.
Your account data is stored in our own database on secured servers, transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never visible to us. While no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and its associated data at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account in the App, or at astropanth.com/delete-account. You may also email us to request deletion.
Astropanth is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, processing a child's personal data requires verifiable parental or guardian consent; because our service is directed to adults, we do not knowingly do so. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
You have the right to access, correct, update and erase your personal data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity. To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us at the address below.
If you have any concern or complaint about how we handle your personal data, you can contact our Grievance Officer at support@astropanth.com. We will acknowledge and address grievances within the timelines required under applicable law. You may also escalate a complaint to the Data Protection Board of India.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, notifying you in the App.
